David Herrera brings over 20 years of diverse experience across investment banking, private equity, asset management, real estate development and structured finance to his clients. David has served in front and middle office roles for several multi-billion-dollar investment groups and has priced and underwritten over $40 billion in debt, equity, real estate, renewable energy and derivative transactions.
In contrast to some of his peers trained to extract value from the marketplace, David Herrera is an ethics-centered financial professional who adds tangible value to every client engagement. Informed by his Jesuit education from Loyola University of Chicago, you can rely on David to bring time-tested fundaments and honest, clear-eyed insight to your operation, as he does to his own successful entrepreneurial activities.
Utilizing his deep analytical expertise, he routinely identifies hidden risks and opportunities while maximizing enterprise value consistently across markets and asset classes. Such breadth and depth of experience uniquely positions Mr. Herrera to understand both client and capital perspectives seamlessly. These qualities also make David a trusted and strategic C-Suite collaborator. Mr. Herrera is fluently bi-lingual and holds dual citizenships in both the United States and Mexico.
Project Manager Memo Chimal brings more than a decade of diverse business and entrepreneurial experience to Golden Mean Ventures. He has considerable expertise in both traditional and digital marketing, as well as growing early-stage ventures in strategic, operations, public relations, marketing, and sales capacities.
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Chimal co-founded a successful brewery and was instrumental in launching an award-winning tequila brand. His responsibilities extended further to include multiple capital raises, manufacturing facility setup (including permits), operations, and capacity growth, and even brokering the company’s profitable exit. These formative, hands-on, and complex experiences uniquely position Memo to offer uncommon expertise, insight, and empathy to Golden Mean’s clients.
An early adopter of digital currencies, Memo is highly skilled in Blockchain technologies, Non-fungible Tokens & other digital assets, as well as multiple AI applications. Memo Chimal is fully fluent in English and Spanish and holds a Masters in Business Administration from ITESM Tec de Monterrey / University of British Columbia with a concentration in Marketing, Business Model Design & Implementation.
